چکیده
The period-luminosity relation (PLR) of Mira variable stars is an important tool to determine astronomical distances. common approach estimating the PLR a two-step procedure that first estimates periods and then runs linear regression magnitude on log period. When light curves are sparse noisy, accuracy period estimation decreases can suffer from aliasing effects. Some methods improve by incorporating complex model structures at expense significant computational costs. Another drawback existing they only provide point without proper uncertainty. To overcome these challenges, we develop hierarchical Bayesian simultaneously models quasi-periodic variations for collection while their PLR. By borrowing strengths through PLR, our method automatically reduces effect, improves capable characterizing We scalable stochastic variational inference algorithm computation effectively deal with multimodal posterior effectiveness proposed demonstrated simulations application observations Miras in Local Group galaxy M33. Without using ad hoc correction tricks, achieves distance estimate M33 consistent published work. Our also shows superior robustness downsampling curves.

LINEAR PULSATION CHARACTERISTICS OF MIRA VARIABLE STARS
The linear adiabatic pulsation-periods of Mira variable stars have been derived. Approximately 2701[1]models were calculated for M = 0.7 MΘ to 2 MΘ stars with radii from 180 RΘ to 340 RΘ and luminosities from 2800 LΘ to 10,000 LΘ. The chemical composition of all models is (X,Z) = (0.7,0.02). From the result of this study, linear relations on Luminosity-Period-Mass relationship and luminosity-pe...
متن کاملPeriod-luminosity and period-luminosity-colour relations for Mira variables at maximum light
In this paper we discuss the evidence for a period-luminosity (PL) relation and periodluminosity-colour (PLC) at maximum light for Mira variables. We confirm the existence of such relations in the J, H and K bands, and also based on bolometric magnitudes, for oxygen-rich (O) and carbon-rich (C) Miras in the LMC. We demonstrate that in the J and H bands the maximum light PL relations have a sign...

متن کاملHubble Space Telescope Fine Guidance Sensor Parallaxes of Galactic Cepheid Variable Stars: Period-luminosity Relations
We present new absolute trigonometric parallaxes and relative proper motions for nine Galactic Cepheid variable stars: l Car, ζ Gem, β Dor, W Sgr, X Sgr, Y Sgr, FF Aql, T Vul, and RT Aur. We obtain these results with astrometric data from Fine Guidance Sensor 1r, a white-light interferometer on Hubble Space Telescope. We find absolute parallaxes in milliseconds of arc: l Car, 2.01± 0.20 ; ζ Gem...
